IN THE GREAT LAKES ECOSYSTEM FOR THE PAST 10
YEARS, SPECTACULAR NEW FLY PATTERNS AND
TECHNIQUES BY THE BEST STEELHEADERS IN THE
WORLD!
For
eighteen years, Matt and Laurie Supinski
together with their excellent team of guides
and the rest of their professional staff have prided
themselves in
offering the very best in fly fishing,
guiding, lodging and hospitality period in West Michigan. Every
picture on this site tells a part of the whole story
with a smile! Our professional guides take
great pleasure in fishing with seasoned
veterans. But they excel in teaching new
anglers from beginners,
novices, children and families, to guiding
advanced experts. We specialize in guiding
12 months a year - not just when the fish are
on gravel in the spring and fall.
Why? -
because we have a passion and an understanding
of how trout, steelhead and salmon and their
rivers behave throughout the bountiful four
season wonderland of the Great Lakes. We tie
and invent our own fly patterns and study
the insect hatches so we can bring the magic
of taking a fish on the fly to you in a
special way. With our broad experience of
fishing throughout North America and the
world, our goal is to exceed your
expectations and have you walking away
having learned or perfected your techniques,
catching fish and enjoying a refreshing day
in nature. With
this, we hope for you to yearn for a return
visit to the Gray Drake Lodge.
Having
pursued Steelhead, Trout, Pacific and
Atlantic Salmon for over 40 years throughout
the world, proprietor and guide Matthew
Supinski and his wife Laurie make an excellent
team, have intrinsic knowledge of the fish
species and the techniques for success.
Through
his book authorships, free-lance magazine
writings and photography. Matt Supinski is
in touch with the most progressive methods,
techniques and tackle. Having been born and
raised in the Great Lakes, Matt and his
outstanding Pro Staff guides will proudly and
enthusiastically guide you to the incredible
angling experience, and the Silver and Brown bounty our waters provide.
WE HOPE YOU ENJOY OUR NEW WEBSITE, AND WE
LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AT THE GRAY DRAKE
