| Excellent runs of Atlantic salmon ascend the St. Mary's River in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan each year from June through September. These silvery blue emerald jewels are perhaps the most spectacular world class fighters available. By jet sledding the Sault Edison hydro plant area and American rapids, sight nymphing for the Atlantics is possible. Also during the Hexagenia and cinnamon caddis hatch, the Atlantics will surface feed on the emergers. Waking Wulffs and Bombers will also bring Atlantics up. | |||

In November, several inland glacial lakes host good runs of Atlantic salmon with very little angling pressure |
